SAN ANTONIO (August 1, 2019) – Imagine waving to the thousands of families lining the Fiesta parade streets, making appearances at official Fiesta events, and implementing a service project that impacts your community for the better – as Miss Fiesta San Antonio® 2020!
Community-minded, young women are encouraged to apply to be Miss Fiesta and serve as Official Fiesta Royalty and act as an ambassador who raises awareness of Fiesta San Antonio, Fiesta San Antonio Foundation, and also of the community service platform she creates during her reign.
The deadline for submission is Friday, August 30, 2019 at Noon. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted by the deadline by mail or in person to the Fiesta San Antonio Commission – 2611 Broadway, San Antonio, Texas 78215 or by email to missfiesta@fiestasanantonio.org.
Each application will be reviewed by a select panel that will interview each applicant and narrow the field to a few finalists. Those finalists selected will be required to attend an in-person interview and, if selected, participate in the Miss Fiesta San Antonio Selection Event on October 16, 2019.
Miss Fiesta San Antonio 2020 must be available for certain press interviews and public appearances from October 2019 through October 2020. Fiesta 2020 dates are April 16-26, when Miss Fiesta must commit to visiting the full schedule of Fiesta events.
