“Fit For a Princess” is a self-esteem and empowerment program for little girls, ages 4 – 9 years old, sponsored by the Cherice Cochrane Foundation. Workshops include: self-esteem and character building, personal safety, personal hygiene, responding to bullies, manners & etiquette Tea Party, dance & fitness. The program culminates with a Runway Fashion Show and Coronation of all participants. Each participant is crowned “Fit For a Princess” with a ‘real’ rhinestone princess tiara, princess sash, FFP t-shirt, swag bag and Fiesta medal. The program uniquely brings together inner and outer beauty. Lessons on building good character and serving as volunteers in the community highlight true beauty while reinforcing practical skills. Camp registration fee is $54 is required by B. Pink Parties.
In addition, a special optional competition is also held to crown the 2020 Miss Texas Amazing Princess, based on their “Act of Kindness.” What makes a little girl “Fit for a Princess?” It’s her inner-beauty, confidence, character, and compassion for others. Amazing Princess pageant competition fee of $50 is required. Participants are limited to the first 25 registered girls. Registration deadline is February 1.
