Event Details
The Texas Cavaliers were created to honor the memory of the the matchless heroes who fell at the Alamo, to encourage horsemanship, and to foster relations with the U.S. Military. Many members descend from pioneering families who contributed to the Independence and settlement of Texas. Each year a new King Antonio is elected to membership. King Antonio is crowned in a patriotic public Investiture in front of the historic Alamo, and San Antonio’s rich cultural history is then celebrated during Fiesta.
Founded in 1926, the Texas Cavaliers consist of over 600 business, civic and community leaders seeking to give back to the community by supporting children’s charities. Made possible by their generous community partners, the Texas Cavaliers have distributed more than $6 million dollars through the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation.
Admission is free.
