The Praise Dance Celebration adds a touch of spiritual zest to Fiesta®. This event presents an opportunity for all to experience the creative expressions of God’s word through Praise Dance.  Each performance integrates modern dance, ballet, and African dance movements, all guided by angelic and spiritual dance techniques. This celebration of dance shares the African American heritage of praise and worship through dance with the San Antonio Community. It is the vision of Alpha Tau Omega Chapter to promote events that will enhance the cultural and artistic experiences within the community.

Since 1930, Alpha Tau Omega Chapter has provided services within our community to support the goals and ideals established by the Founders’ of the sorority.  Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is an international Greek letter service organization founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University. It is the oldest Greek letter organization in the United States for African American college educated women. Alpha Tau Omega Chapter has continuously worked to cultivate high academic achievement, ethical standards and civic responsibility in our community with an assortment of nonprofit events and programs.
