Event Details

Texans are still celebrating their Independence 184 years after the Battle of San Jacinto. The Battle of San Jacinto forever changed the history of Texas and the World. There is no better way to celebrate freedom than to join the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Alamo Heroes Chapter at the Alamo on April 18, 2020, of Fiesta. Fiesta San Antonio commemorates Texas win at the Battle of San Jacinto and we’d like for you to join us as we celebrate.

Did you know the song the soldiers sang as they marched into the battle was a love song? Remember and help us honor those brave heroes who fought for Texas Independence at San Jacinto on April 21, 1836 and the brave heroes who continue to fight for our freedom today.

Admission is free. Pet friendly event. Via Transit Services and Bicycle Racks are available in the Alamo Plaza area.
