An inclusive community promotes and sustains a sense of belonging; it values and practices respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living of its members.

Starting from The City of Windcrest's City Hall, around the Golf Course, and winding through the neighborhoods, you can display your Fiesta® Spirit. 

Dress in your brightest colors and adorn yourself with streamers and flowers, inflatable Scepters, and Adorned Shoes for this festive 5K and 1-mile dash. 

Competitive divisions for Runner (Non-Adaptive), Walker (Adaptive), Prosthetic Device, Pushchair/Stroller, B/VI - Guided Runner, Power Chair, Wheelchair, Sports Chair, Race Chair, Hand-Cycle, Recumbent Bike, or Adaptive Trike.

The 11th Annual 5K & Parade is on Saturday, April 22, in the City of Windcrest (8601 Midcrown), from 7 - 11:30 AM.

DID YOU KNOW . . . The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Asso DID YOU KNOW . . . The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association Inc.'s (@fiestaflambeauparade) mission statement is to plan, organize, produce, and stage the Fiesta Flambeau® Parade annually during Fiesta® San Antonio. 

The 2023 Fiesta Flambeau® Parade will celebrate “Fiesta Flambeau 75th Diamond Jubilee” as the parade theme. 

It is the largest illuminated night parade and the highlight of Fiesta®. 

The Fiesta Flambeau® Parade continues to light up the streets of downtown San Antonio along the 3-mile route and is viewed by an estimated 750,000+ spectators and another 1.5 million television audience.

KSAT 12 @ksatnews will broadcast the Parade.

In 2006, the Fiesta Flambeau® Parade Association, Inc. introduced “Torchy” as its official mascot. 

The Fiesta Flambeau® Parade will be on Saturday, April 29, from 7 - 11:30 PM.

DID YOU KNOW . . . The Conservation Society of San DID YOU KNOW . . . The Conservation Society of San Antonio (@saconservation) hosts A Night In Old San Antonio (NIOSA) (@anightinoldsa)

They are one of the nation's oldest and most active historic preservation organizations.

NIOSA pays homage to the city’s diverse culture with food, music, and decor that transforms the village into 14 distinct areas. 

NIOSA is the top fundraiser for historic preservation in the United States- living up to its motto as a “Celebration for Preservation”. 

NIOSA occurs in the heart of downtown San Antonio on the grounds of La Villita Historic Arts Village District, with its four+ acres of historic buildings, cobblestones streets, walls, and fountains.

A Night In Old San Antonio (NIOSA) is April 25 - 28, at Historic La Villita (418 Villita Street) (@lavillitaarts), from 5:30 - 10:30 PM.

DID YOU KNOW . . . Central Catholic High School (@ DID YOU KNOW . . . Central Catholic High School (@satxcchs) is hosting the newest Fiesta event, CCHS Fiesta FangDango.

This event is an affordable, family-friendly experience with fun for kids of all ages.

There will be various food and beverage options available. 

Guests will enjoy live music and other entertainment for children. 

The event is located in the heart of San Antonio, on the historic campus of Central Catholic High School, with plenty of free parking. 

All proceeds raised from this event will support scholarships, student programs, and building improvements at Central Catholic High School.

CCHS Fiesta FangDango is Thursday, April 27, at Central Catholic High School (1403 N. St. Mary's) from 5 - 11 PM.
