1971 – Fiesta MedalsBack in 1946, King Antonio distributed coins to

 local children. Soon after, coin tossing became popular. Children decorated t

heir coin purses and tied them around their neck. 

In 1971, King Antonio XLIX, Charles Orsinger, collected coins from

 children and he punched holes in the coins, leading to the creation

 of the Fiesta medal.
