Fiesta Flambeau® Parade Association
He is a native San Antonian and President of the Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association. He has been a proud member of the Association since 1998. He served on many committees and Board positions including President in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. Moreover, he has served on committees with the Fiesta San Antonio Commission.
He works as a Professor with Alamo Colleges/San Antonio College and St. Mary’s University in the Intensive English Program. However, after 31 years teaching in public school and 19 years teaching higher education, he is retiring effective August 31, 2026, after 50 years in the field of education. In 2004, he was honored to receive the KENS-5 Excel Teacher of the Year award. In addition, he was inducted into the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers for 8 consecutive years.
He enjoys traveling with his wife, Martha and his siblings. Together they have visited 15 countries, 46 American states and 2 American territories. He appreciates staying active in the community. He is also a proud pet parent of 5 dogs and 5 cats which keeps him busy.
