Steve Rosenauer
Executive Director
Steve became the Executive Director of the Fiesta® San Antonio Commission on August 1, 2020.
Prior to that date, Steve was the Executive Director of the Fiesta Oyster Bake® festival and Director of Alumni Relations for St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and held those positions since 1995.
Steve worked as a Co-Manager for Kroger / Texans’ Warehouse Foods – San Antonio from 1992 to 1993.
Steve is a member of the Texas Festivals and Events Association (TFEA) Hall of Honor, a Past President of TFEA, a current board member of the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) and a current board member for Visit San Antonio (VSA).
Steve has been an Elected Commissioner of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission, and in 2017, was inducted into the Order of the Cascaron (Fiesta’s Volunteer Hall of Fame).
Steve earned his Certified Festival and Event Executive certification (CFEE) in 1999.
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Steve graduated high school from Chaminade College Preparatory School in 1987.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
Steve and his wife, Lea, President & CEO of Girls Inc. of San Antonio, have a dog, Natalie.
