The Fiesta® San Antonio Commission Crowns 2026 Miss Fiesta
and Unveils 2026 Poster
SAN ANTONIO (February 3, 2026) The Fiesta® San Antonio Commission is excited to announce that Julia
Enriquez was crowned the 2026 Miss Fiesta® and Eva Davidson was recognized as the 2026 Poster Artist. The
crowning and poster unveiling / artist reveal were conducted last week at a special Fiesta membership event
at the UIW Rosenberg Skyroom.
As the 2026 Miss Fiesta, Julia Enriquez, a Senior at UT San Antonio majoring in Politics and Law, will receive a
$15,000 scholarship from the Fiesta® San Antonio Foundation and each of the four 2026 Miss Fiesta Finalists
will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Julia will represent the Commission throughout the 2026 calendar year and provide support to the Official
Fiesta Event Organizations by making personal appearances at their events and advocating for their non-profit
charities.
Julia exclaims, “As an ambassador for Fiesta, I am passionate about serving my San Antonio community,
celebrating our diverse heritage, culture and spirit and making a positive impact in the lives of others. Let’s
“Fiesta Together,” San Antonio, and celebrate a “Party With A Purpose!”

Eva Davidson, a student at Northeast Lakeview College, received the most votes for her poster design, among
the five poster design entries, during a Fiesta® Commission Member’s Only event in September. One student
from each of the five Alamo Colleges was selected to submit a poster design for this contest. Although the
votes were tabulated in September, the winning design and artist were revealed in January.

For her inspiration for the 2026 Fiesta poster, focusing on the 2026 Fiesta theme, “Fiesta Together,” Eva says,
“I most wanted to capture the ideas of togetherness, unity, and joy. It was very important to me to represent
the many walks of life an everyday citizen of San Antonio might occupy, with everyone’s cultures coming
together to make San Antonio the city it is. I attempted to capture this through monochromatic pallets,
complementary colors, and a strong composition that would be understandable from any distance.”

The 2026 Fiesta merchandise items, i.e., posters, medals, T-shirts, caps, tote bags, postcards, etc., will
incorporate many of the elements of Eva’s poster design. The Prestigious Mark will coordinate general
merchandise sales, and Monarch Trophy Studio, Official Fiesta Medal Retailer, will coordinate the medal sales.

About the Fiesta® San Antonio Commission
The Fiesta® San Antonio Commission Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer, self-supporting organization that plans,
promotes, coordinates, and preserves Fiesta San Antonio through support of its Participating Member
Organizations in presenting a safe, educational, annual celebration of the diverse heritage, culture and spirit of
San Antonio for its residents and visitors.
Fiesta® San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo
and the Battle of San Jacinto. That historic commemoration still takes place, but for more than a century,
Fiesta® has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures and today is one of this nation’s
premier festivals with an economic impact of more than $340 million.
Each year, more than one hundred San Antonio Area Non-Profit, Fiesta Member Organizations coordinate
more than one hundred Official Fiesta® Events to raise funds to provide services to San Antonio citizens
throughout the year.
The Fiesta San Antonio Commission’s purpose is to help each of its Member Organizations be as successful as
they can be.
