Who is Miss Fiesta® San Antonio?

Born and raised in San Antonio, Kylie grew up just steps away from St. Mary’s University, where she first experienced the magic of Fiesta. From an early age, she was captivated by the energy, unity, and deep-rooted traditions that make Fiesta such a cherished part of the city’s identity. Some of her fondest childhood memories include volunteering with her family at St. Mary’s Baby Bake and standing along the Battle of Flowers Parade route, excitedly shouting, “Show us your shoes!” to her role models, the Fiesta® royalty.

Kylie’s journey has been shaped by the unwavering support of her family and loved ones. She shares a deep bond with her two older sisters, three younger brothers, and her longtime boyfriend, Jonathan, a St. Mary’s University alumnus. Together, they have been her greatest champions. Growing up, she was surrounded by remarkable role models who dedicated their lives to serving others. Her stepfather, an Air Force veteran who was deployed to Iraq, is approaching 30 years as a detective with the San Antonio Police Department and was awarded to Peace Officer Purple Heart in 2009. Her father, a Bexar County Sheriff, spent 27 years with Bexar County SWAT, exemplifying courage and commitment to protecting the community. Her mother, a San Antonio native, has always been her guiding force, instilling in her the values of perseverance, compassion, and service. Coming from a proud military family with members who have served in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including her older sister who is currently active duty in the Army, Kylie is deeply connected to San Antonio’s strong military roots. Inspired by her family’s dedication to service, she aspires to attend medical school, commission as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, and specialize in trauma surgery, ensuring that she too serves those who serve us.

Her dedication to medicine and helping others was cemented through her work as an EMT. She completed EMT school at the top of her class and gained hands-on experience during her clinical ride-outs with Gonzales County EMS, where she cared for critically sick and injured patients. It was in those high-pressure moments—providing life-saving interventions and offering comfort to those in distress—that she fully realized her calling: to serve others not only through medicine but through compassion, connection, and unwavering commitment.

Kylie’s passion for service extends far beyond medicine. A proud graduate of Louis D. Brandeis High School, Class of 2022, she spent three years on the cheer squad, embodying school spirit, leadership, and a commitment to uplifting others. Through cheer, she supported her community while volunteering with organizations like the Northside Special Olympics, creating an inclusive and joyful environment for athletes. Her dedication to service has only deepened since then. She helps preserve San Antonio’s natural beauty through her work with the Cibolo Nature Center and provides essential healthcare to the unhoused and uninsured at Corazón Clinic. At the South Texas Children’s Bereavement Center, she serves warm meals to families facing profound loss, offering comfort through compassion. Additionally, she mentors and tutors middle school students, introducing them to the wonders of science and inspiring them to reach for their dreams. As a certified CPR instructor for the American Red Cross, she is also committed to equipping others with life-saving skills, ensuring that her passion for service extends to empowering those around her.

Now a third-year neuroscience major with a pre-med concentration at UTSA, Kylie is dedicated to both academic excellence and service. As a first-generation college student, she has continuously strived to maintain a high GPA and has earned multiple academic honors, including an Honor Roll distinction and three placements on the Dean’s List. A proud member of the UTSA Honors College, she is involved in organizations such as the pre-health society Alpha Epsilon Delta and the UTSA American Chemistry Society, where she continues to grow as a leader and lifelong learner. Grateful for every opportunity, she remains committed to using her education to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

To Kylie, Fiesta is more than a celebration-it is a reflection of the strength, resilience, and beauty of San Antonio. It is a time when the city comes together in joy, unity, and service to honor the heroes that fought at the Alamo and San Jacinto. As Miss Fiesta San Antonio 2025, she is honored to represent the city she loves and is deeply committed to Partying with a Purpose by supporting its 100+ nonprofit organizations, uplifting its people, and giving back to the community that has shaped her into the person she is today. With gratitude, passion, and excitement, she looks forward to a year of service, tradition, and celebrating a Fiesta for All!
