This role allows him to combine his business savvy with his deep passion for helping people feel at home, especially those who have served our country. Freddie developed his passion for hard work though his many years working at his family’s business – Paris Hatters a 107-year-old, world famous landmark, established in 1917. Starting his career in the family business gave him a strong work ethic, passion for helping others and desire to give back to our community.

Giving back is second nature to Freddie. He’s served on the boards of the San Antonio Zoo, the San Antonio Symphony, Symphony League, and Central Catholic High School’s Alumni Board. When he’s not working or serving his community, you’ll find Freddie with his family. He is married to his beautiful bride Peggy, and they’re the proud parents of their daughter, Tate, who now lives in Dallas with her husband. Rounding out the family is Bailey, a goldendoodle who never misses a chance to hop in the car for a ride and has tons of canine charm and their grand dog (goldendoodle), Paisley.

An alumnus of the University of Texas at San Antonio, Freddie is proud to represent his alma mater and the city he loves. He always strives to make San Antonio a better place to live, work, volunteer and grow. He looks forward to serving the Fiesta San Antonio Commission as an Elected Commissioner.
