Irma Iris Duran de Rodriguez is a dedicated San Antonio community member, policy coordinator, and advocate for families and youth. Holding a BBA in International Marketing (with minors in Finance and German) from UT‑San Antonio and an MBA with a focus on Project & Construction Management from Texas A&M‑San Antonio, she has devoted two decades to public service in city administration. Her devotion to A&M led her to be the inaugural College of Business Alumni Association president, tasked with the creation and promotion of the organization.

In her tenure with the City of San Antonio, Irma has successfully steered interagency collaboration to improve constituent services, manage grant programs including Community Development Block Grants and SBA funds, and drive initiatives in housing, economic development, and planning. She currently serves as Community Initiatives Program Administrator in San Marcos, continuing her mission to foster sustainable growth and community empowerment
