Sandy Liwang

Sandy Liwang has been a member of the Fiesta commission since 2009 and has volunteered with and supported many of the participating member organizations over those years. She is a married to her healthcare hero Effendy, and has two grown children. She works as an accounts receivable manager for a wire harness company that makes parts for the transportation industry. Sandy grew up in Louisville Kentucky, but has lived in San Antonio for the last 21 years. She is currently on the executive board of disABILITYsa and works towards making San Antonio more accessible for all people. She also volunteers with the Texas Ramp Project building wheelchair ramps, and feeds the homeless every other month with her Rotary club. Service is her love language and she looks forward to serving as an elected commissioner.
