Dina Boley 
Dina D. Boley is the Director of Public Affairs at Cavender Auto Group. She joins the Cavender team after serving 12 years on Active Duty and 4 years as a civilian within the Army. Focused on strategic planning, media relations, government relations, community engagement, public policy and military affairs. San Antonio, the seventh largest city within the U.S., has a population of more than 1.5 million and is known as Military City, U.S.A.™ Home to Joint Base San Antonio, the Defense Department’s largest joint military installation centrally located and a focus of support. Freddie Cervera
Freddie Cervera is a leader who brings heart and hustle to everything he does. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, business development, sales and marketing, Freddie currently serves in a Sales and Marketing capacity at Blue Skies of Texas, formerly known as Air Force Village. This role allows him to combine his business savvy with his deep passion for helping people feel at home, especially those who have served our country. Freddie developed his passion for hard work though his many years working at his family’s business – Paris Hatters a 107-year-old, world famous landmark, established in 1917. Starting his career in the family business gave him a strong work ethic, passion for helping others and desire to give back to our community.
Freddie’s career has taken him across the country and around the globe, launching new business ventures and breathing new life into organizations in both emerging and competitive markets.

Trish DeBerry
Trish — aka Captain Marvel – believes that superheroes come in all shapes and sizes. With her wicked smart intellect and passion for making a difference, there is no doubt that she is built for speed and performance to find solutions to problems most find too vexing to conquer. A native San Antonian with a degree from Trinity University, Trish has a deep and abiding love for the Alamo City. Previously, as a Centro Board Member, Trish helped shepherd three transformational downtown projects to voter approval as part of the 2017 City Bond. As Chair, she oversaw Centro’s implementation, guidance, and community involvement as the projects broke ground and reached completion. Her return as Centro Board Chair coincided with another period of accelerated growth downtown, exemplified by the passage of the 2022 Bond Program, catalytic projects like the UTSA Downtown Campus, San Pedro Creek, and Alamo Plaza, as well as by the increase in residential units in the core. As the current President and CEO of Centro San Antonio, Trish has catalyzed a resurgence in downtown San Antonio by fostering new collaborations among city partners. This transformation marks a new era of activation aimed at overcoming a period of stagnation, driving growth and revitalization across the community. As an entrepreneur and strategist at heart, Trish possesses unique qualifications to craft the overarching vision that guides all other tactics.
Richard Delgado Jr.
Richard Delgado, Jr. is a lifetime Texan who served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps. Entering the delayed entry program at the age of 17, Richard has spent his life serving his community, our country and its heroes. Struggling to recover from his own injuries and dealing with the mental anguish of losing fellow Marines, Richard has overcome many obstacles and is the epitome of determination and commitment to recovery and a “new normal”. After leaving active duty and searching for help himself, Richard found that there was a large disconnect in care, resources, and the ability for Veterans and their families to access and understand what was available for them.
With the support of his lovely wife Natasha, a combat Marine herself, and their two sons Dominic and Xavier, and daughter Kalena, Richard made a commitment to make the road of recovery, reintegration and understanding easier for other Veterans and their families. Terrin Fuhrmann
Terrin Fuhrmann is a prominent figure in San Antonio’s business and civic community. As the owner of Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen on the Riverwalk, Terrin has created a beloved space that blends vibrantatmosphere with a passion for hospitality.
In addition to running a successful business, Terrin serves on several boards and foundations, contributing to various causes and local institutions. He is on the Board of Directors for Visit San Antonio, representing the iconic Riverwalk, and is also an elected commissioner for Fiesta San Antonio, playing an active role in one of the city’s most celebrated cultural events.
Terrin is deeply committed to education and philanthropy, serving as a consejo for the Rey Feo Education Foundation. He is also a dedicated trustee on the Board of Trustees for both Primarily Primates, a sanctuary dedicated to primate care, and The Martini Foundation and Trust, furthering important community and conservation efforts. Additionally, he sits on the Board of Governors for The Centre Club, fostering leadership and engagement within the organization.
With a passion for community service and development, Terrin Fuhrmann continues to be an influential leader and advocate for the vibrant city of San Antonio.

Abby Kurth
Abby Kurth is a Clinical Nutritionist and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is also the author of Wellness is More Than Weight: Easy Steps to Change Your Health Habits and Your Life,” which offers a practical guide to motivation and successful habit change. She educates through her blog, Facebook page, and various media outlets, conveying the empowering message that unlocking the secrets to lasting well-being is achievable for everyone.
Abby has been active in the community as Health and Wellness Coordinator through her church and as a member of Les Dames d”Escoffier, a philanthropic group of women leaders in the fields of food, nutrition, hospitality and agriculture. Abby has been involved in Fiesta since the 1990’s helping coordinate events for Colonial Hills UMC and Lo Bello, and more recently for the Military Civilian Club. She assisted husband Laurence as First Lady of Fiesta in 2005 and as the Royal Consort to Rey Feo in 2023.
Sandy Liwang
Sandy Liwang has been a member of the Fiesta commission since 2009 and has volunteered with and supported many of the participating member organizations over those years. She is a married to her healthcare hero Effendy, and has two grown children. She works as an accounts receivable manager for a wire harness company that makes parts for the transportation industry. Sandy grew up in Louisville Kentucky, but has lived in San Antonio for the last 21 years. She is currently on the executive board of disABILITYsa and works towards making San Antonio more accessible for all people. She also volunteers with the Texas Ramp Project building wheelchair ramps, and feeds the homeless every other month with her Rotary club. Service is her love language and she looks forward to serving as an elected commissioner.
Bridgette Oliva
Bridgette Sopper Oliva is a local attorney specializing in Labor and Employment law and general business law. She has practiced law in San Antonio since 1989 and opened her own law firm, Sopper Oliva & Associates, since 1998. Bridgette also owns Alameda Healthcare, LLC, a corporation which manages medical office property. Bridgette was born and raised in upstate, New York and gradually worked her way south in search of a warmer climate, attending undergraduate school in Washington, D.C., then attending law school at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, and settling in San Antonio in 1989. Cheryl Palmer
Cheryl Palmer is a retired business owner and a distinguished member of the Alpha Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she has devoted over 50 years of committed service. She currently serves as co-chair of the chapter’s Arts Committee and The Praise Dance Celebration—an official event of the San Antonio Fiesta Commission. In addition, she is a newly elected commissioner with the San Antonio Fiesta Commission and plays an integral role on the MLK Awards Committee.
A devoted patron of the arts, Mrs. Palmer is an avid collector and advocate with a longstanding dedication to cultural enrichment. Her work includes the planning and coordination of theatrical productions, musical performances, and visual art exhibitions that celebrate creativity and community. Her efforts have earned her numerous accolades honoring her leadership and sustained community impact.
Janet Putman
Janet Putman is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Education and a minor in History. After teaching for eight years, Janet began a sixteen year career with Douglass King Seed Co., an agricultural seed company specializing in research, production, exportation and distribution of products in Texas and markets worldwide. Melissa Ramirez
Melissa Mota Ramirez is a proud San Antonio native, born and raised on the city’s Westside. She graduated from John Jay High School and continued her education locally, earning an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting from St. Philip’s College and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from the University of the Incarnate Word.
With more than 30 years of experience in public service and land development, Mrs. Ramirez has dedicated her professional career to serving the residents of the City of San Antonio. She began working with the City in April 1995 and joined the Development Services Department in 1998. Over the years, she has held several key positions, including Building Inspector, Plans Examiner, Planning Manager, and Policy Administrator. Irma Duran de Rodriguez
Irma Iris Duran de Rodriguez is a dedicated San Antonio community member, policy coordinator, and advocate for families and youth. Holding a BBA in International Marketing (with minors in Finance and German) from UT‑San Antonio and an MBA with a focus on Project & Construction Management from Texas A&M‑San Antonio, she has devoted two decades to public service in city administration. Her devotion to A&M led her to be the inaugural College of Business Alumni Association president, tasked with the creation and promotion of the organization.
In her tenure with the City of San Antonio, Irma has successfully steered interagency collaboration to improve constituent services, manage grant programs including Community Development Block Grants and SBA funds, and drive initiatives in housing, economic development, and planning. She currently serves as Community Initiatives Program Administrator in San Marcos, continuing her mission to foster sustainable growth and community empowerment. Read more…

Fernando Villarreal
Fernando is a first generation born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Attended Highlands High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He’s presently employed by the Conservation Society of San Antonio as the Business Manager for “A Night in Old San Antonio®”. Previously, he was employed for over twenty-two years at the Fiesta® San Antonio Commission, Inc. as the Assistant Executive Director then as Operations Manager. Upon his return from Austin, Fernando started his architectural career working with Jose Luis Hernandez architects as a construction documents manager for various projects ranging from educational facilities to the Alamo Dome transit facility.
Fernando has been a member of the Fiesta® San Antonio Commission, Inc for over thirty years. Other memberships include Beethoven Maennerchor, Conservation Society of San Antonio, and Fiesta® Flambeau Parade Association, occasionally serving in various board capacities. He enjoys traveling throughout Mexico with an emphasis in states of Oaxaca and Jalisco. Always keeping an eye out for new and creative ideas that can be applied to our Fiesta culture.
Jeffrey Weissman
Jeffrey Weissman is President of Copperhead Construction Services, a general contracting firm which specializes in multifamily and commercial rehabilitation and repair work. He has been an active member of the Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation since 2014 and served on the 2019 and 2023 Rey Feo Courts as Day Minister and Executive Minister. Jeffrey has also served as President of the Circle for Life PMO. A father of three daughters, Jeffrey also enjoys time riding and competing on his horse Farley. When not spending time with his daughters or riding his horse, you will often see him riding his motorcycle with fellow Fiesta Commission members.
