Fiesta Gartenfest at the Beethoven

Founded in San Antonio in 1867, the Beethoven Männerchor is the oldest active German singing society in Texas! 

• Proceeds from Fiesta Gartenfest help the Beethoven preserve German music, language, customs and culture in South Texas.

•  Entertainment includes the 50-piece Beethoven Concert Band and the Beethoven German Dance Band. The Beethoven Männerchor and Damenchor will lead sing-a-longs of Biergarten favorites.

• Military Ambassadors will visit on Wednesday, April 30 

• King Antonio and Royal Castle will visit on Thursday, May 1

• Rey Feo and Royal Court will visit on Friday, May 2 

• Beer, wine and soft drinks available, including 15 different German brews on tap

• What does it take to feed a hungry crowd? One ton of sausage, 5,000 buns and 800 pounds of sauerkraut…and that’s just to serve bratwurst! We’ve also got Reuben sandwiches, Leberkäse, German potato salad, Bavarian pretzels, potato pancakes and other German specialties.
