Miss Fiesta® San Antonio 2026 Finalists

Julia Enriquez

Julia Enriquez is a senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), pursuing a degree in Politics and Law, with plans to graduate in 2026. She currently works at the Mexican American Unity Council as a Housing Promotora, assisting clients in developing estate plans to protect their homes for future generations. In addition, Julia interns remotely for Team Tony Gonzales for Congress, where she collects, organizes, and records data to support legislative and community outreach efforts while strengthening her communication skills in a congressional environment.

Her proudest accomplishment is maintaining her role at the Mexican American Unity Council and helping over 100 families preserve their homes. For Julia, clearing titles is more than paperwork – it provides families with security and peace of mind. She is especially proud of this work because it allows her to give back to the Hispanic community and help underserved families feel seen and supported. Julia’s passion for helping others drives both her professional and personal life, and she finds true fulfillment in making a meaningful difference.

Margarita Isabel Lara

Margarita Isabel Lara, often referred to as Isabel, is a junior at The University of the Incarnate Word and is set to graduate in December 2026. She works at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas as a Communications Intern, where she assists in planning and executing internal and external events, including logistics and promotions. Throughout her academic journey, Isabel has taken part in several extracurricular activities, including serving as the UIW Marching Cardinals Bands Photographer, being a member of Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, University Mission and Ministry Media Minister, First Generation Student Organization Officer of Social Media/Public Relations, and working as a Multimedia Journalist/Anchor for UIWtv and UIWtv en Español.

Her proudest accomplishment has been earning the opportunity to work with Methodist Healthcare Ministries. For Isabel, it is more than an internship – it is the first step toward the future she has always dreamed of. She has always wanted to serve in a community-focused organization, one that truly cares about people and creates real impact. Being able to contribute to events and donation efforts that directly support families in San Antonio fills her with pride and purpose.

Caroleena Mancilla

Caroleena Mancilla is a junior at Texas A&M University–San Antonio and is set to graduate in May 2027, pursuing a degree in Biology. She works as a sales associate for The DoSeum, where she assists families in selecting educational and play-based items that support continued learning at home.

Caroleena is highly dedicated to her campus community, serving as the Student Body President, the Texas A&M University System Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council Secretary/Historian, and a Mentor for the Unity37 Coalition. Outside of school, she has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations, including St. PJ’s Home, the San Antonio Zoo, The DoSeum, and the University of the Incarnate Word’s Girls in Engineering and Math Program.

The accomplishment she is most proud of is having the opportunity to represent her university as Student Body President. This role has challenged and inspired her to grow both personally and professionally. Advocating for students and hearing their stories every day motivates her to work harder and strive to create meaningful change on her campus and in her community. Through this experience, she has developed a deeper understanding of leadership, service, and the importance of giving back.

Audrie Quesnot-Torres

Audrie Quesnot Torres is a freshman at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and is set to graduate in May 2029, pursuing a degree in Public Health.  She is deeply committed to her school and community. Audrie is the Co-Founder of the Diabetes Education Prevention Organized Team (DEPOT), where she helped lead a public health initiative to plan and execute health fairs and educational programs focused on diabetes prevention for underserved youth. She is also a Student Mentor for CAST Schools, a member of the UT Teen Health Youth Leadership Council, and a Student Advisory Board Member for Bilbotech.

Audrie’s greatest accomplishment is becoming the first student from her area to join the Voelcker Biomedical Research Academy, an experience that transformed her personal hardships with her family’s health struggles into a passion for biomedical science and community service. Her time in the lab studying the same disease that affected her grandmother inspired her to break down healthcare barriers and support underserved students. She is most proud of mentoring seven other students into the program, becoming the role model she once needed, and working to ensure that young girls from her community feel they belong in scientific spaces.

Lauren Valderas

Lauren Valderas is a senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), set to graduate in May 2026. She is pursuing a degree in Biology with the goal of attending dental school. In addition to her studies, she works as a Pharmacy Technician at H-E-B and interns at Potranco Smiles Dentistry.

Lauren is also dedicated to volunteering, serving as the Head Volunteer for the San Antonio Fire Department Toy Drive and participating in their Toy Wrap Party. She has supported various community initiatives, including the UTSA Pre-Dental Society’s Brush Rush events, Jubilee Westwood’s Spring Festival and Career Day, the San Antonio Food Bank, the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation 5K, and the City of San Antonio’s Graffiti Wipeout.

Her biggest accomplishment is navigating the dental field without prior connections – completing over 150 shadowing hours this summer while managing two jobs and taking rigorous summer courses. She is proud of this achievement because it allowed her to develop strong time-management and resilience skills while building relationships in a competitive field. Shadowing dentists closely gave her valuable insight into patient care and the challenges and rewards of the profession. This experience deepened her understanding of dentistry and solidified her commitment to pursuing it fully as a career.
