Children’s Texas History Forum
- At the start of the event, children will witness the making of adobe bricks. Few houses in San Antonio made of the bricks now exist, Navarro house is one of them.
- Children will progress to classrooms, where presenters will tell them about a significant Texas history person/place. Presenters will be be in period dress.
- There are 6 presenters, and the children will progress from one classroom to the others till they’ve heard all 6 presenters
- At the conclusion of the event, children will be presented with a small Texas flag.
- This event is for 4th and 7th grade students, schools are solicited for participation.
