WEBB celebrates “Stayin’ Alive” in 2019
The iconic WEBB Party started as a private AIDS fundraiser in 1993, becoming an official Fiesta® event in 2004. High-energy dance music, cutting-edge live entertainment, full-service bars, exotic cuisine tastings and an eclectic, fun-loving crowd make it a perennial Fiesta favorite. This year’s theme, “Stayin’ Alive,” celebrates both the Disco Era of the 1970s and the breakthroughs in HIV medical care that have led to longer, healthier lives for those affected. Headliner will be “American Idol” finalist Ada Vox.
The event attracts 1,000 guests each year and raises more than $100,000 for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation’s client services and programs.
Founded in 1986, the San Antonio AIDS Foundation is the oldest HIV/AIDS service organization in Bexar County and South Texas, serving 12 counties. Its mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and provide comprehensive services to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. The foundation provides no-cost services to 30,000 people a year through free HIV/STD education and testing, clinical and mental health services, a year-round hot meals program, oral health referrals, medical and social case management, transitional housing and more. The foundation is located at 818 E. Grayson Street.
Tickets are $75 presale, $90 at the door. VIP packages, military/student discounts and corporate sponsorships are also available.
